Located one mile outside of the harbour at Las Galletas, the Rays (Los Chuchos) offers divers the chance of see dozens of rays. Ranging from the small bat-ray species, to the larger eagle variety and even sting rays, all of these underwater creatures are eager to greet curious explorers.
El Condesito Shipwreck invites divers to discover the mystical wonders that lie within the ship that sank over 30 years ago off the coast of Punta Rasca. Although there is no sunken treasure to uncover, the shipwreck is home to an incredible array of marine life, including squirrel fish, sergeant majors, rainbow wrasse, trumpet fish and many species of octopus.
Eighteen metres below the surface, the Steps (Los Escalones) is hidden past a permanent shoal of mackerel and located at the sandy ocean floor. An enchanting natural tunnel attracts a variety of oceanic species, ranging from zebra bream to trigger fish which provide perfect photography opportunities.
The crystalline waters of the Amarilla bay make Yellow Mountain (Montaña Amarilla) an incomparable diving experience. The submerged volcanic landscape gives way to a sudden drop which ends at a sandy canyon eighteen metres below the surface, where an abundance of sea life can be found throughout the year.
