The medieval castle in San Miguel draws guests into the Middle Ages as soon as they enter the grounds. Astonishing towers of Canarian canto stone stretch into the sky and overlook the grand entrance decorated with ancient armour, swords and weathered scrolls depicting traditional tales from the era.
Count Rodrigo and his daughter, the young Countess, regally welcome guests into their castle before they take their seats in the Royal Box and guests are ushered into the impressive tournament hall to witness the spectacular show and be waited on by the royal subjects.
Before the show begins, guests enjoy an authentic medieval banquet of soup followed by a whole roast chicken and garnish per person, all of which must be eaten in the traditional medieval way: without cutlery. Unlimited wine for the adults flows throughout the banquet and show, whilst children enjoy free soft drinks.
After the banquet, guests are seated in stands of wooden benches and tables which surround the huge sand arena where several knights and horses dressed in authentic medieval attire are ready to entertain the audience with fantastic games and battles of rivalry.
A captivating display of horsemanship, heroic acts and battles between the knights ensues as guests cheer and shout to encourage the courageous knight representing them. Once the spectacular show has finished, guests are escorted into the ballroom to enjoy the live musical acts and reflect on the truly exceptional evening.
